Mondays
Lab Reports are due on Mondays. Labs are done in class and usually last one to two days. Students are assigned conclusion questions to take home over the weekend.
Thursdays
TAKS work is due every Thursday. These packets are handed out on Mondays.
Fridays
- Vocabulary Tests will be every Friday. Students will get terms every Monday to study and review throughout the week.
Current events are due anytime throughout the year.
· Students may use resources such as Magazines, Newspaper Articles, Online Articles from accredited sites, and Scientific Journals. These articles must be attached to the current event summery.
· Within the article, students must underline or highlight words they do not understand.
Current Event Expectations
State the main idea of the article.
Summarize the article. Make sure to include all important information.
State why this article is related to science.
Define all words and concepts that you highlighted from the article for better understanding.
Discuss how this article affects your daily life or your future.
Remember that no late work will be accepted this semester. This policy is stated in your handbook and is district wide.
